Alex Vu

Treasurer

Hi Texas VSA! I am Alexander Vu, your Treasurer for 2026-2027. I am a senior majoring in Economics with a minor in Wealth Management. My hometown is Cypress, Texas, which used to just be rice fields a little outside of Houston.

In my free time, I love to watch random videos on YouTube and, consequently, have acquired a variety of discussion topics and an odd sense of humor. I am a big fan of baseball; go Astros! I also have a daily ritual of playing the puzzles in the New York Times and on LinkedIn. Unfortunately, I may have spent more time playing the games on LinkedIn than actually using the platform. I also like to go on strolls around campus to people watch, so if you see me wandering about, don’t be afraid to say hi! Fun fact: My friends call me “The Panini” because no matter what way you flip it, the bread comes first.

I am super excited to be a spreadsheet warrior for VSA this year, but even more than that, I am so excited to meet you all this year!
