Public Relations/Fundraising Chair

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Tran, and I am your public relations and fundraising chair for the 2025-2026 school year! I am a senior Marketing major with a minor in media and entertainment industries. I have lived in Washington, D.C. (shout out to the DMV), Houston (H-Town we up), San Antonio (remember the Alamo…), and now Austin (Hook ‘em).

My favorite parts about being in VSA include not-so productive study sessions at cafes and eating and cooking with the fam. My favorite way to spend time outside of VSA is laying in bed while reading webtoons and listening to R&B music. I say that, but I will basically say yes to any hangout as long as I have time. I balance being a full-time student, officer in VSA, and officer in Hook’d Magazine, so find me around campus trying to be productive.

I am so excited to meet everyone in VSA, so don’t be shy and come say hello!
